The pharmacy chain Serdechko’s official website announces the availability of five pharmacies in Moscow. However, according to AlphaRM, the chain included 15 pharmacy outlets at the end of the first quarter of 2017. In April 2017, the chain was sued for bankruptcy.
According to the SPARK database, Marco LLC, which manages the Serdechko chain, was registered in February 2015. According to the company’s official website, it includes 22 pharmacies. Apparently, this was the maximum number. In 2017, it began to decline.
Interestingly, the company got problems almost immediately after it was founded. In 2015, CV Protek filed a lawsuit for 5.18 million rubles, which, however, never reached the stage of court proceedings. This dept was probably paid. In 2016, the situation repeated itself with the Apteka-Holding Rus LLC, which demanded the payment of 9.16 million rubles. The distributor won the court case. However, the required amount was most likely never fully returned. In April 2017, Apteka-A.B.E. LLC, the legal successor of Apteka-Holding Rus, filed a claim for bankruptcy. In May, a candidate for the post of the arbitration administrator was suggested to the court that will hold its next session on August 10, 2017.
In 2017, some more claims were filed; for example, ROSTA CJSC was trying to collect 468.73 thousand rubles from the above mentioned pharmacy chain, while BSS LLC claims 277.53 thousand rubles.
The five pharmacies mentioned in the company’s website are open. However, the hotline phone does not respond, and the online system for ordering medicinal products does not work.
