ERKAPHARM North-West intends to buy six pharmaceutical companies

On August 1, LLC ERKAPHARM North-West, which is part of the Erkapharm Group of Companies (owner of the pharmacy chains Stoletov and Ozerki), filed with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia a number of applications to obtain the preliminary consent of the antimonopoly authority for the acquisition of 100% shares in several companies, among which:

- LLC Kedr (located at: 199178, St. Petersburg, VO, Bolshoy Prospect, 47, the main activity in accordance with the Charter: retail trade in pharmaceutical and medicinal products, cosmetics and perfumery).

- LLC Rosta (located at: 197229, St. Petersburg, 3-Konnaya Lakhta, 48, building 7, the main activity in accordance with the Charter: retail, wholesale, storage, delivery and other operations with medicinal products, including potent and poisonous ones, medical devices, dietary supplements, cosmetic products).

- LLC Lekpharm (located at: 350912, Krasnodar Region, Krasnodar, Post Office 27, the main activity in accordance with the Charter: retail trade in pharmaceutical and medicinal products, cosmetics and perfumery).

- LLC Kvant-Pharma (located at: 350062, Krasnodar Territory, Krasnodar, Atarbekova St., 40, the main activity in accordance with the Charter: retail trade in pharmaceuticals, medicinal and orthopedic products).

- LLC Raduga Pharm (located at: 197229, St. Petersburg, 3-Konnaya Lakhta, 48, building 7, the main activity in accordance with the Charter: retail, wholesale, storage, delivery and other operations with medicinal products, including potent and poisonous ones, medical devices, dietary supplements, and cosmetic products).

- LLC Rosta Plus (located at: 197229, St. Petersburg, 3-Konnaya Lakhta, 48, building 7, lit. A, office 309, the main activity in accordance with the Charter: the distribution of pharmaceutical products , wholesale and retail trade and other operations with medicinal products, medical and sanitary devices, and cosmetic products).

In the process of the consideration of applications, interested parties have the right to submit information on the effect of a transaction or other operation on the competition, to the antimonopoly authority.

The applications will be considered within thirty days from the date of their receipt. On September 6, the FAS reported that these applications had been accepted for consideration.

As PhV mentioned in early September, a chain of pharmacies Aptechny Dom passed under the control of the group of companies Erkapharm.

According to the analytical company AlphaRM, Aptechny Dom is represented by nine pharmacy outlets in Penza. The chain’s revenue amounted to 9.9 million rubles in July 2017. The growth of the pharmacy chain in comparison with the same period of the last year was estimated as -5.39%.

In July of this year, Erkapharm announced the acquisition  of the united pharmacy chain (OSA) Raduga-Pervaya pomosch-Ladushka, owned by Rosta. As the general director of Erkapharm Anastasia Karpova pointed out, the company plans to complete the deal by the end of this year.
