The group of companies Bionika acquires the controlling block of shares in the analytical company Alpha Research and Marketing (AlphaRM). The deal was made by way of negotiations between the company’s shareholders in October of this year, announced the Chairman of the Board of Bionica Group of Companies Yuri Krestinsky.
Until now, Bionica Group owned a blocking stake in the company, which it acquired in March 2016. The acquisition of additional 25% of shares from other shareholders will raise the share of the group in the capital to the controlling share. By agreement between the parties, the transaction must be finalized before the 1st quarter of 2017. According to Mr. Krestinsky, the full buy-out of the company is not planned yet.
The reorganization of the technological and managerial structure of the business, as well as the strengthening of consulting and sales units are planned as part of the preparation for the transaction. According to the Chairman of the board of Bionica, it is possible that several representatives of the group of companies will enter the board of AlphaRM.
