Based on the results of the first quarter of 2017, the number of pharmacies in Russia reached 60,422. Their total turnover, including all categories of goods sold through the pharmacy segment, amounted to 281.56 billion rubles. In the pharmacy segment, we observe continuing consolidation and growth of the key players’ share. Both the turnover of pharmacies and the average check are growing, which inspires optimism. The most obvious changes occur in the formal field of changing the status of pharmacies.
